Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance:
G-Deck's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1. Data Architecture & Security Principles
G-Deck is engineered as a privacy-first, client-side executive command center and workspace aggregator. Our core security architecture ensures:
- In-Memory Token Management: Authentication tokens obtained via Google OAuth 2.0 are retained strictly in-memory during your active browser session. G-Deck does not write your access tokens or refresh tokens to external database servers.
- Zero Server Data Storage: G-Deck does not store, index, sell, inspect, or copy the contents of your Google Workspace files, emails, messages, calendar events, tasks, or documents on intermediate servers. All data transactions execute directly between your web browser and official Google API endpoints.
2. Information We Collect & How We Use It
G-Deck accesses only the minimum necessary information required to deliver core workspace management features:
- Account Identification: Basic Google profile data (name, email address, profile picture) provided via Google Identity to display your active account profile.
- Workspace Data (Google APIs): With your explicit consent, G-Deck accesses Google Workspace services including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Google Keep, Google Meet, and Google Contacts strictly to render unified feeds and carry out user-initiated workspace actions.
- Local Preferences: Interface customizations (pinned apps, dark/light theme, dashboard order) saved locally on your device via browser LocalStorage.
3. Limited Use & No Third-Party Data Sharing
We enforce strict data boundaries in accordance with Google Developer Policies:
- No Data Selling or Advertising: We never sell, rent, trade, or monetize your Google Workspace data or personal information under any circumstances.
- No Data Transfers: We do not transfer your Google Workspace user data to third parties, advertising networks, data brokers, or information resellers.
- No Human Inspection: No human reads or inspects your Google user data unless required for technical support explicitly authorized by you.
4. Artificial Intelligence & Google Gemini API Integration
G-Deck offers optional AI features (G-Pilot) powered by Google's official Gemini API to assist with cross-app summaries, schedule planning, and task execution:
- Data sent to the Gemini API is processed strictly to fulfill explicit prompt requests or automated workflows configured by you.
- No Model Training: Your Google Workspace data is never used to train or fine-tune public or generalized AI/ML models.
5. Data Retention, Deletion & Account Revocation
Because G-Deck operates on a client-side model:
- Closing your browser tab or clicking "Sign Out" immediately purges all active authentication tokens from memory.
- You can revoke G-Deck's access permissions to your Google Account at any time directly through Google Account Security Settings.
